Arthur Wint was my father. He was best known as Jamaica's first ever Olympic Gold Medalist in the 1948 Games in London, UK. He was also a pilot with the RAF during WWII; a doctor & surgeon; and a diplomat.
My memoir paints a portrait of a man who was more than a great athlete. He was a father, husband, teammate, and friend; a man who towered above most people in stature, but who lived a quiet and humble life.
